About the position Under direction, the Consular and Corporate Services Officer position is responsible for delivering consular, passport and notarial services to Australians in Peru and Bolivia. The position also provides corporate, financial and crisis management support to the Embassy. The role requires sound judgement, discretion, and the ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures across a range of responsibilities. The officer needs to be able to work independently, engage with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and represent the Embassy’s interests. |

About the position Under limited direction, as part of the Corporate Services Team, the Office Manager and Quality assurance position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Australian Embassy in Lima, ensuring the delivery of high-quality internal support services, and is accountable for meeting key performance indicators across corporate enabling service areas. Operating with a high degree of independence and in consultation with the DHOM/SAO where necessary, the position ensures compliance with all relevant Australian legislation, policy and procedures and adherence to applicable Peruvian law. The incumbent is responsible for developing efficient and effective procedures, driving continuous improvement within the office, and maintaining a positive working relationship with the attached agency Austrade through the effective implementation of the Service Level Agreement. |
